When you finished you get a message you did well, AWESOME

Beats the hell out of LFS don't you think TRKAC. Maybe they even got a forum where whining is appreciated and you can share your summercamp experiences!

Why didn't anybody explain to S.E.T.H. that driving in F-mode does NOT reduice the weight of the car to only four wheels, a driver and a steering wheel and therefore is NOT faster than the "normal" mode and will NOT give you faster times?

So this case is closed now I guess.

This reminds me of the period when cargame.nl was giving away S1 voucher under similar conditions.

People get crazy

Might be better to NOT make a competition, NOT communicate about S2 vouchers being given away as a present, but only watch driving (and behavior!) on demoservers and surprise a demoracer who deserves it.

This is history repeating. (BTW no offence to TRR because they mean nice )

Jut my two cents.

Quote from The Very End :Nobody sucks, they lack experience only. I have not watched the replay, and I am not going to, because I belive everyone can be a fair and good driver with the right amount of training.

Well said. Furthermore I have seen you driving Puhba and I promise you when you keep the patience you will do fine soon enough. Just don't try to win the first race you join, learn car & track first, make sure you have good setups (ask people after races) and most important: enjoy.

@Kalev EST: guess you didn't get the cookie with your milk today huh buddy.

A small (self-) reflection from me

Cornys, I think you are doing a fine job in organizing this TBO Championship and this Oval race. I know how much effort you put into making it a good race-event. And basically, the event (former races) went great.

Therefore, if u are apologizing I expect a LOT of todays participants to write their own apology in this thread a well. What was said at the end of the race is true: admins need to keep strict lines in order to let racers race within the borders of what is acceptable (mainly: racing rules, listening to admins). But also, racers themselves need to be strict towards themselves. What I saw today was a total lack of respect for each other or racing rules.

So it basically works two ways. As I have seen in the TBO-races in this event; it works just fine. Guess maybe Oval brings up the little devil in many of us

My suggestion (seriously) would be:

Let's do this Oval race again. I mean that. As organisation we will be strict in maintaining the rules. I will ensure you we will have a good race. Probably with less racers but it will be good.

Quote from The Very End :Well, if you think of all the years of development, and the fact they are 3 people sharing the profit, it's not that much of money.

Exactly. And if you take into consideration all the complaints and nagging about the sim and future releases in this forum, I certainly wouldn't want to switch with them

Next race will be on Blackwood if I am not mistaken? Sunday 25th of September with same qualifying and racestart times?

This race was a good one, hope next one will be even better: smaller track

If we all have unique user names... why are nicknames needed?QUOTE]
Well... for example, one day I feel like Justin Bieber, another day I feel like Barack Obama and when I feel like myself it's just Speedy J

But seriously; there are certain nickname requirements for leage races, so that makes it also necessary to be able to change nickname (driving for a team, changing team or driving individual when not driving in team are possibilities).

And like Silver says, not common on S1 or S2, so :bullwhip: move on

Quote from sjava :
P.S you said that the team was founded in autumn but how come you guys were already there in the summer?

Yeah that is kind of confusing. The thing is, when the cargame servers started we were with some guys who wanted to show by tags who was involved in the CG shizzle. Also to be recognizable to racers / newbies etcetera

Then some time later the idea was born to join race competitions, like GTAL. Some of the guys in the CG team want(-ed) to be part of that.

So, basically, we have a CG-team (serverboss, admins, friends) and inside that team there is a CG-racing team

Hmmzzz am I making things more clear now

There can never be something wrong with opening a mature discussion John, don't feel quilty :detective

As far as I am concerned, I played demo for about half a year. For me it would not have been usefull to restrict demo-use to (for example) 100 laps coz I simply couldn't control any demo-car after 100 laps :shhh:

When I saw improvement (at last lol) I got interested in getting the S2 license. I feel that this goes for more (average) users. So if restricted usage would ever be subject, then I would agree with EQ Worry's second suggestion.

On the other hand I see a LOT of S0-racers who race very good and very fair. Would be a big loss, and a shame, if they were lost due to obligatory payment, even a payment for only a few bucks...

So.... a dilemma... :tempted:
